President’s Corner

On behalf of the Montgomery County, MD, chapter members, it is my privilege to welcome you to our chapter website. I am honored to serve as the current president of the Montgomery chapter. As a chapter, we work together to do more for our children, families, and community. Our executive board, grade group, committee chairs, and mother members have been working extremely hard in planning to fulfill the mission of our organization. Together, we are dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership, development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty.

Our programming continues to embrace our national theme, “The Power to Make a Difference-We Can Do More,” and our regional theme, “Empowering Families for Success.” As we build on our chapter’s strong foundation of 60 years and our chapter theme, “Diamonds Sustaining a Legacy of Excellence,” we thank you for supporting opportunities that enrich the lives of our children and families while serving the Montgomery County community. We will continue to work together to achieve this because “Together, We Can Do More!”
